The date of the Summer Regatta is the same as the last 3 days of the European Championship. But it is not a coincidence! The point of this Summer Regatta is that young optimist sailors (the forthcoming generations) can meet their own age-group to test their skills and strength and to have a chance to win!

 

Balatonfűzfő, Hungary. The club has a nice and quiet environment and is the largest green zone club in Hungary with proper facilities. The sailing club is the most successful Optimist educator club in Hungary.

Entry fee: 25 euro / person 

 

The official accommodation is in a brand-new motel, 800m from the club, with 2 or 3 beds.

During the time of the Regatta, thanks to our partners, you will have to pay only 15euro/person/night for hte bed&meal (meal including breakfast and dinner).

Parking with a caravan is also possible.

Any other accommodation is also available (hotels, motels, private rooms).

 

It is possible to train before the regatta. If you come without your coach, don’t worry, you can train with Opticoach. (For more details: click here)

 

If there isn’t an escort with you on the water, don’t worry, you can put your stuff in our motorboat.

During the 3 days of the regatta we will fuel up your motorboat! (If you plan to bring a motorboat, please register it until 15^th June, 2010).

A charter boat is not a problem.

 

The surrounding towns provide several sight-seeing and cultural programmes (for example, Balatonalmádi, Veszprém, etc.).
